Acura MDX Press Reveal – New York Auto Show 2016

Project Description:

The 2016 New York Auto Show saw Acura unveil an upgraded MDX, alongside their new NSX GT3 race car.

 

Core to the event creative, was transforming the auto show environment into a theatrical space. The was achieved via a 60-ft light tunnel enabling two MDX’s to drive dramatically into the space. The lighting aesthetic was mirrored in the video content, delivering a dynamic and integrated reveal moment. To further surprise audiences, the NSX GT3 was unveiled via a rotating curved scenic panel that continued the volumetric lighting theme.

 

As the Account Lead for Acura’s auto show press events, I was responsible for the end-to-end management of the project, from pitching the initial creative, through production, to onsite rehearsal and delivery.
