Project Description:

Having been involved with Vivid Sydney since the early days of the festival, Spinifex has played an instrumental role in helping shape the event into what it is today.

​

During my time in the Spinifex Sydney office, I oversaw content production across 3 Vivid festivals, and became the primary client interface across all Spinifex Vivid projects. Some of the highlights include:

  • MCA Projection (2012): the façade of the old MCA building was transformed into an amazing10-minute projection show inspired by the Russian Constructivist movement

  • MCA New Facade interactive (2012): the MCA’s then recently refurbished new façade played host to a unique creative collaboration with Black Eyed Peas front man and Intel’s Director of Creative Innovation, will.i.am, which took the form of an interactive music experience

  • Cadman’s Cottage and Billich Gallery wall (2012): Working with the Australian Bureau of Statistics, we took data visualization to a unique, eye catching new level, via an interactive projection to promote the release of ABS' 2011 Census data

  • Audi Projection (2013): to support the launch of the new A3, Audi asked Spinifex to bring the car to life on the heritage listed walls of the Sugar Stores building
